about

Their first album is a great overview of their repertoire. The CD starts with a lovely melody from the late 20’s, the Coquette. Due to their love for the song, they decided t name the band after it. They feature their beautiful singer in the second song on the Nat King Cole tribute arrangement Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby, which is followed by the title song of the album from Irving Berlin, Isn’t This a Lovely Day, arranged by the trombone player Matyas Papp.
Ain’t She Sweet is a jump back to the streets of New Orleans, ended by a swinging shoutchorus. The beautiful ballad You’re Driving Me Crazy is sang by our singer and highlights our piano player Matyas Bartha. The hot swing tune called Undecided has powerful solos and a crushing shout-chorus, in memorial to the great trumpet player Charlie Shavers. The last piece is our beloved Them There Eyes, dedicated to Ella Fitzgerland the Queen of Swing.
